Our program offers pre-competitive and squad Level training for those swimmers whose aim is to develop their fitness, endurance and competition for swim meets. The structure of the program is as follows:
Junior squad: - This should be the first step for many novice swimmers who are looking for an introduction to competitive swimming. Development of skills including starts, turns and legal competitive stroke technique is the primary focus - Practice of minimum 2 times per week and will have the opportunity to swim in competitive swim meets.
Singapore swimming proficiency award. (SSPA): - All Junior Squad swimmers will be eligible for the certification test if they have met the minimum time standards. The test is usually conducted in March and June. The coach will select qualified swimmers for the test.
Senior 1 squad: - This group is for swimmers aged 6 and up who are prepared to commit and excel for the sport. Developing advanced stroke mechanics, mental skills and exposing to high intensity workouts is the main concentration, - Must attend practice minimum 3 times a week.
Senior 2 squad: - This group is by recommendation of the coach only. - Training will be 8 to 10 sessions per week. - High intensity workouts.
